Prince William & Kate hooked on padel tennis & play fiercely competitive matches with pals

Addicted to padel tennis, PRINCE William and Kate play hard-fought matches with friends, The Sun can reveal.
The couple gave the world’s fastest growing sport the royal seal of approval after trying it out at sports fields near their Windsor home.
And the padel-loving couple now regularly plays doubles with friends – albeit on opposite sides.
Wills, 40, and 41-year-old Kate were spotted playing the game at a posh complex with luxury leisure facilities in recent weeks.
A cross between squash and tennis, the all-action game uses a solid padel racquet instead of a string racquet.
There are now 25 million players worldwide, including stars such as David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo and Elle Macpherson.
Wills and Kate leave their three children at home and head to the 90-minute sessions.
A witness accidentally stumbled upon the royal couple playing with their pals.
They said, “I had to do a double take because it seemed surreal, but they had a great time.”
“William was on one team with a male friend and Kate was on the other team with a male friend and there was a lot of banter and a lot of laughter, but both sides fought for every point.
“They looked good in it and didn’t look like beginners.”
