Princes Andrew & Harry Banned From Wearing Military Uniform At Queen Elizabeth II’s Funeral

Princes Andrew and Harry were not allowed to wear their military uniforms at Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

Only working members of the British royal family are allowed to wear military uniforms during state funerals and processions. King Charles III made the decision that his son was forced to wear a suit despite his 10-year military service.

Prince Andrew has been stripped of his royal patronage and military affiliation amid allegations of sexual abuse. He will wear his uniform at the last vigil. Prince Harry will not.

“Prince Andrew was stripped of all his honorary military titles for disgracing the Royal Navy and royal family after Virginia Giuffre accused them of sexual abuse,” author Shola Mos-Shogbamimu told Newsweek.

“Prince Harry has served with distinction. He served in the army with distinction and rose through the ranks. He has done two tours of Afghanistan. He still works with veterans and encourages support for wounded men and women,” she continued.
