Prolute leaves Challengers team to fill in for iLLeY again on OpTic Texas

Indervir ‘iLLeY’ Dhaliwal has been struggling with an ongoing thumb injury since Major Two in Minnesota and after another setback – a temporary roster change ahead of Major 4.

Rostermania is in full swing for Call of Duty Vanguard and in another clueless twist, Prolute resigns for OpTic Texas while iLLey returns to the bench with an ongoing thumb problem.

iLLeY initially missed the CDL Pro-Am Classic on May 5, with Jordon “General” General filling in as the AR player.

When news broke that Dhaliwal would be sidelined indefinitely, the team took a bold step and brought challenger phenom Prolute.

iLLeY returned to training on June 16, but another setback has resulted in Prolute being reinstated on the schedule for Major 4 qualifiers beginning Friday.

Prolute starts again for OpTic Texas

CDL Intel first reported that there is a “very high probability that Illey will be benched again and Prolute will start all over again.”

Reddit user MisterMath was one of the first on the scene, saying, “I was just doing a search for American Airlines departures from this airport and there is a flight that departed around the time he posted this to Dallas.”

Prolute left OpTic after Major 3 and joined a Challengers roster with Brack, FeLo and Clayster. With his new Challengers team, Prolute made it to the Grand Finals of the #12 NA Challenger Cup, but fell to the new bench against Capsidal and his roster of ex-pros.

The first Major 4 qualifiers begin on Friday, June 24 and OpTic Texas plays Boston Breach at 4:30 p.m

Given the multiple storylines, fans of both squads will surely want to tune in and see how everything unfolds on the march to Major 4.
