PS5 owners go wild for must-have accessory that saves console from nightmare accidents
PLAYSTATION 5 owners are raving about an affordable accessory that keeps their expensive device well-ventilated – and out of the reach of children and pets.
Using the PS5 stand to place the console horizontally instead of upright just isn’t enough.

Gamers are now purchasing a PS5-specific wall mount to keep their console safe and avoid potential accidents.

The Marvelights gadget is currently 13 per cent off on Amazon, from £26.20 to £22.90.
“One problem with placing the console on the floor or on a shelf is that it sits low to the ground and the floor is not adequately ventilated,” the company explained.
“Mounting your PS5 gives you more ventilation as air can flow both up and down.”
PS5s can overheat during intense gaming.
If a console gets too hot, it can shut down, which can really ruin a good gaming session.
Positioning the console higher will also reduce dust buildup in the vents.

Most importantly, thanks to the gadget, you will no longer be afraid when your children or animals approach the console.
“Children are unfortunately not known for being very careful when handling expensive electronics,” Marvelights added.
“When you mount your console, it stays high up so it can’t be knocked over, stepped on, or have something fall or spill on it.”
Mounting the console to a wall mount also makes it easier to connect the console to a wall-hung TV.
All necessary screws and a wall bracket are included – all you need is a drill.
“So happy with this, used all four mounting screws,” wrote one five-star reviewer.
“The scope of delivery includes everything you need for assembly, of course without tools, very robust, the instructions were good enough. I have the disc version if that helps.”

Another said the mount was “well made” and “easy” to install, adding that “with a little planning before drilling holes in the wall, no cables from the TV or console will be visible.”
