Rachel Riley is enjoying her first movie date in FOUR YEARS with husband Pasha Kovalev after disclosing their marital woes

RACHEL Riley enjoyed a rare date night at the cinema with her husband Pasha Kovalev for “the first time in four years”.

The Countdown star took to her Instagram Stories on Friday and shared a sweet snap with her husband, who was sound asleep on top of her.

Rachel, 37, looked stunning in a strapless pink ensemble which she paired with heart-shaped earrings, while Pasha wore a black tee.

She wrote: “Date night when you have toddlers. In cinemas for the first time in four years.”

This comes after the blonde beauty opened up about her marriage to the ex-Strictly star, claiming they are like “ships that sail by in the night”.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Rachel said: “I think it’s mostly family time at the moment. We’re having a rare date night because he’s going to be gone quite a long time.”

“But when you meet for the first time, the two of you have been gone for three months and you’ve only been together for a month, it’s a big deal.”

“But when you’ve been together for the best part of a decade and you can look to the future, no matter how many more decades you put together, it kind of changes perspective.”

“When you have kids too, I ask myself every day, ‘What am I doing this afternoon?’ It’s summer vacation and I have to keep them busy and we’ll see him here and everywhere when he’s around.”

“We’re ready to meet friends we haven’t seen in a while and we accidentally chose to go to Brighton the same weekend that he does his show in Brighton, which is quite nice.”

“I need to be more organized to see what days he has off – I juggle so many things.”

Rachel and Pasha met on the eleventh season of Strictly Come Dancing where she worked alongside the Russian professional dancer.

The couple were eliminated from the show in its sixth week and a month after the show ended, Rachel ended her marriage and relationship with Jamie Gilbert.

A year later, in 2014, she confirmed her relationship with Pasha, insisting that he was not the reason for the breakup.

Rachel announced she was pregnant in 2019, and later that same year she and Pasha married in Las Vegas.

In December 2019, she gave birth to her first daughter, Maven Aria.

In November 2021, the star gave birth to her second child.
