Ragnarok Season 3 Recap: Is There Another Season Happening?

The awesomeness that is Recording of Ragnarok has finally returned and anime fans couldn’t be more excited to see the ongoing battles between gods and humans with supernatural power!

When we last watched this anime series, several fights took place between both sides. In some battles the god was victorious, while in others humans took home the crown. And you can bet the same can be said for season two, as this season featured even more fights between characters you either love to hate or hate to love.

While we don’t want to give too much away on which side currently has the upper hand, we do want to inform you that the tournament isn’t over yet, which means there are more lineups on the way. In addition, since the fate of mankind has not yet been decided in the manga, we can assume that the series will run a little longer. But what are the chances of this happening?

Has Netflix renewed Record of Ragnarok for a third season?

As of January 27, 2023 we have no information about it Recording of Ragnarok Season 3, but that’s not because the streaming service hasn’t renewed the anime. Rather, it’s because Season 2 isn’t over yet!

There are currently 10 episodes in the first episode of Season 2. However, according to HITC, Netflix will release the remaining five episodes later this year. The same information can be found in the official trailer for the anime below.

The official release date for Season 2 Part 2 has yet to be announced, but we expect the new episodes to be released sometime in June 2023 as that was when Season 1 premiered on Netflix. Stay tuned to see if our prediction comes true.
