Ramona Singer on her ‘RHONY’ exit: I don’t miss it at all!!
Ramona Singer left The Real Housewives of New York after starring in every season of the show from the start, but she says she has no regrets stepping down.
“I’m a little over 60 now, I’ve worked hard my whole life. It’s about time I just enjoy myself,” she told the Daily Mail. “And doing the show isn’t easy. I mean people think it’s easy. Very stressful, very stressful.”
She says she is happier now that she can control her own narrative. Reports of racism circulated during the show’s final season. Something she denied.
“I don’t miss it at all. It was a great experience and I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” she added.
She says she played into all the drama on the show, but she’s not like that in real life.
“They didn’t tell me what to do, I just knew how to create something [drama]’ she told the outlet. “Was that the real me? Not really. Have I been on steroids? Absolutely.”
