Rangers star Alfredo Morelos spotted on flight as fans question his motives

EVERYONE knew Alfredo Morelos was leaving Rangers.
And maybe he’s even on his way to a new club.
The Colombia striker was spotted on a plane this afternoon despite Rangers having a game tomorrow.
Gers’ last game of the Premiership season is at the SMiSA Stadium against St Mirren.
But Morelos will not be part of the squad.
Twitter user Gary Collins posted a photo of the 26-year-old sitting in his seat on a flight with the caption, “A familiar face on my flight,” alongside the buffalo emoji for the Colombian’s nickname (El Bufalo).

In the snap, Morelos can be seen wearing a tracksuit and hat and looking at his phone.
A man is seated next to Morelos, but it’s unclear who he is, whether he’s the player’s agent or just a member of the public.
Fans in the comments section had a few questions, mostly as to why Morelos was on the plane when Rangers had a game the next day.
“He doesn’t have a game tomorrow?” asked a supporter.
While Rangers are obviously in action this weekend, manager Michael Beale had confirmed earlier in the day that Morelos would not be in the squad for the Paisley game.
Others began to wonder if the player was headed to his next club.
Another player asked, “Where is he going?”
The user who posted the image revealed that the flight was to London, noting that the Colombian could fly anywhere from there.
He could return to his home country or catch a connecting flight to another destination, perhaps to seal a move, or maybe just for a vacation.
Likewise, there’s a chance he’s on his way to meeting a team in and around London to discuss a deal, as Crystal Palace in particular have fallen short in betting on his next club.
Meanwhile, Beale has admitted to driving his recruiting team insane trying to find the next Morelos.
He said: “In the last third, I think that’s an area where we win a lot of games and score a lot of goals, but it’s also a team that misses a lot of chances.”

“So we’re going to try and bring in a couple of players with some lineage to complement what we have and hopefully that gives us more punch.”
Before I add: “The recruiting team has been hearing almost every day for the past two weeks that I need these players sooner. I think I drove them a little crazy since I was the main recruiter.”
