Tory Lanez’s dad tried to make peace with Meg Thee Stallion earlier this week. But instead, his video apology to the female hip-hop star is being used as a MEME across social media, Media Take Out has learned.
Tory’s father shared that he, Tory and her family Megan Thee Stallion “forgave” their allegations that his son shot her. Tory Lanez has been convicted of shooting Meg in the foot – and faces 22 years in prison.
In an Instagram Live on Thursday (January 12), Lanez’s father, Sonstar Peterson, expressed on camera: “This may come as a shock to a lot of you, but guess what? My son, I and other family members have long decided that we will not show any hostility towards Megan Pete aka Megan Thee Stallion. We forgave the girl a long time ago. A long time ago.”
As CRAZY as that sounds… what’s even crazier is Tory’s dad’s hairline. Check out the tattooed hair he’s rocking. People on social media are having a great day with this.
In the “Apology” IG, the former pastor added: “We know that the principle of forgiveness is important to cleanse your heart, cleanse your soul and not be associated with hatred. Hate, resentment, resentment – these can actually be bone diseases. It’s proven, and it can cause disease in your body because you’re holding on to something that’s negative against the real force in your life.”
After “forgiving” Megan Thee Stallion, Tory’s father shifted his focus to fighting “the machine” for justice in Tory’s case.
“Some will no doubt ask, ‘Is he really saying Tory has forgiven Megan everything that’s going on?'” he asked rhetorically. “Yes, we have forgiven her. But what we don’t shy away from is the machine.”
