Read the charges against disgraced lawyer Tom Girardi

Tom Girardi, the disgraced former LA legal titan and spouse on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” was federally indicted in two states on Wednesday.

Girardi, along with his son-in-law, attorney David Lira, and Girardi’s law firm’s former chief financial officer, Christopher Kamon, have each been charged with eight counts of wire fraud and four counts of contempt of court amid allegations of fraud involving millions of dollars from injured and wounded clients .

Federal prosecutors said the three embezzled more than $3 million in settlement funds from the families of those killed in an Indonesian plane crash.

The charges come after more than two years of revelations of corruption involving Girardi and others.
