Real Housewives’ Michael Sterling Says He’s Planning To Win Back Eva Marcille After Their Divorce Filing!

It was announced yesterday that Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eve Marcille has divorced her husband Michael Sterling. Now Michael speaks up and says he wants to keep his marriage together, Media Take Out has learned.

In a statement to The Jasmine Brand, Michael wrote:

I will not lose my wife. I will fight for her with every fiber of my being. I love her and I intend to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side.

Sounds romantic.

Eva married the Atlanta-based attorney and aspiring politician on October 7, 2018. They share two sons, Michael Todd Sterling Jr., 4, and 3-year-old Maverick. And Michael also adopted Eva’s eldest daughter, Marley.

So what caused their marriage to end? Well, according to the website Sandra Rose, which originally broke the news of the breakup – it could have been Michael’s extracurricular activities.

The blog wrote:

Sources say Eva and Michael have been living apart since earlier this year. . . . A confidential source said she filed for divorce after he moved into another relationship.

Chile, we’re not sure what to think.

In a statement to PEOPLE on Tuesday, Eva said: “This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you didn’t expect.”

She added: “Our children remain our number one priority and the eight and a half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
