‘Real Housewives’ star Jen Shah sentenced to 6.5 years in prison: The internet reacts

It turns out that she was guilty of anything other than being shah-mazing.
Jen Shah, Star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, was sentenced to 6.5 years in prison on Friday for being the leader of a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme. The scam took advantage of the elderly and other vulnerable individuals.
While it wasn’t the first Bravolebrity to go to jail – Jersey housewife Teresa Giudice spent almost a year behind bars on fraud charges – this is quite an extreme case. Shah, 49, is appearing in the third season of the show, which is currently on air – while pleading her innocence (she later pleaded guilty to the horrific fraud after the season ended).

Well, now here we are: Shah goes behind bars. The internet, of course, responded with memes, jokes, and disbelief. Disbelief might be too strong a word, however, because if anything, it seems Shah got off for her crimes with relative ease. If anything, people were shocked that Shah got away at just 6.5 years old for cheating on vulnerable people.
