TOP STORY: Asensio linked with Man Utd

Marco Asensio has been linked with a possible move from Real Madrid to Manchester United, according to the Telegraph.

Madrid are ready to sign the 26-year-old Spain international for €30m but sources told ESPN on Thursday that the Red Devils are prioritizing chasing the Ajax winger first Anthony. Ajax have told United they will be looking at offers of around €100m for Antony as the 22-year-old Brazilian wants to move to Old Trafford.

United could also be forced to compete with Arsenal for the signing of Asensio, who have also been linked with the Spanish star.

Asensio, 26, was unhappy with his starting minutes in Carlo Ancelotti’s side and with the World Cup looming, the attacking midfielder is keen to improve his game.

He would be the second Los Blancos Player to join Old Trafford this summer after Casemiro joined United earlier this week.

Asensio played just eight minutes when he came on as a substitute in Real Madrid’s 4-1 LaLiga win over Celta Vigo.
