Capcom started by asking people about their history with the franchise and has a long list of Resident Evil games.

The survey asks players which main and side games they have played and which ones they would like to see again.

Capcom’s recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 4 have received critical acclaim from fans and critics alike.

Now, Capcom is asking fans which game from its massive library of mainstream and spin-off games they’d like to see remastered next.

However, one game keeps popping up on social media and trending across multiple platforms.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica originally appeared as a Dreamcast exclusive game starring Claire Redfield as the protagonist.

It received critical acclaim at the time, earning an impressive 94/100 on Metacritic, but has since outgrown modern tastes.

Aside from obvious points like outdated graphics and a limited memory system, the controls are very difficult for modern viewers to control.

Using an ancient control scheme known as tank controls, players must turn the character around while stationary to change direction.

Fans have been asking for a Code Veronica remake for years and hope this poll is a way for them to make their voices heard.

It’s often considered one of the best games in the series, but Capcom seems to have abandoned it after a series of unsuccessful ports.

Most Code Veronica ports have done nothing to update the game for modern audiences.

The reviews have therefore been bad, but a complete remake from the ground up like the one Resident Evil 4 has received is sure to be a smash hit.

If you would like to take part in the survey, you are welcome to do so Capcom’s website.
