Rick Ross on why he turned down the Virgil Abloh Maybach
In a recent interview, Rick Ross revealed that he was offered a Virgil Abloh-designed Mercedez Benz Maybach…but declined.
“I’ll be honest, personally I wouldn’t want the Maybach – just because I personally didn’t get it from big mate Virgil. And as I scrolled through my phone while I was on the phone with you, it was funny that you asked me that because I was only offered the Maybach not even four or five days ago,” he told Complex.
Rozay went on to explain his reasons for declining the free luxury vehicle.
“I turned it down, just for the love of the old crap. That would have meant a lot more to me after the homie and I would have paid for it or whatever,” Rozay said. “And I feel like whoever he’s always autographing for should definitely cherish that car and keep it, you know what I mean? That’s exactly who I am.”
