Rick Ross Responds To Wingstop Franchise Violations

Rick Ross has responded to a Department of Labor fine for labor law violations at 5 of the company’s Wingstop franchised locations in Mississippi.

The company is now reportedly paying $114,427 in arrears in wages, penalties and civil penalties. At Rozay’s locations, employees had to pay for their own uniforms, background checks, and more, meaning employees took home less than minimum wage. At one location, a 15-year-old child was even allowed to work after 10 p.m.

“I want to take the time to address something. When you run a business, mistakes will happen, but as the greatest Bawse, you don’t make the same mistakes twice, you know?” he said via social media.

He continued: “Taking responsibility is big when you’re the greatest and remember, most successful people don’t see stumbling as a setback, they see it as a stepping stone to greater things, do you get me? Let’s be great.”
