Riot has responded to calls for a pick/ban system to be added to ranked Valorant

The release Valuable substance Episode 4 Act II does not release any new content into the game. The content begins again with Act III, where Fade becomes the newest agent to rise to fame in ranked and unranked mode. Speaking of ranked play, Valuable substance players have called for adding a pick/ban system to this mode.

There are seven maps in the competitive spin, and some maps take precedence over others. The pick and ban feature will allow players to choose the map they want to play and the map they want to separate from the mix. After all, the VCT competition circuit allows teams to pick and ban maps in advance of a series. However, Riot doesn’t seem to be keen on this idea in casual ranked gameplay.

Riot responds to fans hoping for a pick/ban system in Valuable substance

If you want to see the pick and ban system in Valuable, did not achieve your hopes. In a recent question Valuable substance on the blog, Riot stated that they don’t have any plans for this in the regular ranked mode. Competition designer Jon Walker went on to explain that Riot wants players to learn how to play every map in the rotation, rather than avoiding certain maps.

With that said, the integration of picks and bans may not be entirely out of the question Valuable substance. The team believes that this type of system is worth considering in a regime with complex group strategy. Also, the presence of picks and bans has yet to be ruled out from the upcoming competition mode, which is supposed to follow that gameplay.

“It’s still a work in progress, but we see its potential in a space where teams will plan to play and place Agents on different maps — or maybe they just want to avoid it. of yay’s Chamber on Bind,” Walker wrote.

It doesn’t look like the developers will budge on calls from players to allow more freedom in map selection. When queuing for the next match, all you can do is hope that your favorite map gets played.
