Rita Ora Denies ‘Throuple’ With Husband Taika Waititi & Tessa Thompson
Rita Ora has denied rumors that she and now husband Taika Waititi were in a relationship with actress Tessa Thompson.
“I’ve chosen not to acknowledge that because it’s ridiculous,” she said of reacting to the 2021 pics of Taika kissing her and then allegedly kissing Tessa. “I think when some things are so absurd and it’s hard to make sense of them, you just have to ignore them. I’ve taken this approach to a lot of things because you don’t want to use energy on something that doesn’t exist. It’s like trying to explain something that didn’t happen means you’re invading.’
She said they just drank and had fun as friends.
“Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve been drinking a lot and everyone is your best friend?” she continued. “And then the next day you’re like, ‘I’ve been talking to this person in the smoking area for four hours and I have no idea who they are?’ Literally – that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time.”
