A RIVER City star was photographed with a major Hollywood actor in Glasgow.

Leah MacRae, also known as Ellie McLean on the hit BBC soap opera, grinned over a drink with film legend James Cosmo.

Wearing a sleek brown coat paired with a gray beanie, he flashed a big smile as he slipped his arm around Leah.

The 75-year-old show business star is best known for his roles in TV series like ‘Game of Thrones’ as well as films like ‘Trainspotting’ and ‘Braveheart’.

The two stars enjoyed a day on the town while taking a break from filming new BBC drama Nightsleeper.

Leah, 39, posted the picture to her Instagram while gushed about the “big dream ship.”

She said, “My Lord. I am completely infatuated with this insanely talented beautiful man.”

“With a big dream ship. pinch. Me.Now. #Cosmo #thebestofthebest”

She added: “If they let us off the train for an afternoon! #BestTeam #Belters”

The actors are co-stars in the new six-part Beeb series, which follows passengers struggling to survive on a sleeper train between Glasgow and London.

The cast partied in the stylish downtown bar Pavement all afternoon when they weren’t on set.

Filming for the series began in Glasgow in 2023, but a release date has not yet been announced.
