Rob Brydon admits it “hurts” when people ask why he was cast in Barbie
Rob Brydon has admitted he’s not immune to criticism for his surprise performance in Greta Gerwig’s record-breaking new film Barbie Movie.

In a new interview with The timesThe Welsh actor announced that one of his scenes was cut from the film.
“I shot two scenes in one day, but only one was used, which I edited myself. All in all, it was shorter than you would have hoped,” he said of his performance alongside fellow countryman Tom Stourton (all my friends hate me).
“On the other hand, there was a lot of British talent, some of whom had been on set for nine months, and whose performances didn’t make the same impression as my one day on the job.”
Brydon later said he was upset with people questioning his appearance in the film. “I’m not saying it annoyed me, because that’s going to be the headline at the end, but…”. .
