Russia Targets Infrastructure Across Ukraine in Latest Barrage

Russia fired a salvo of missiles at energy infrastructure in Kiev and other Ukrainian cities on Friday, part of a campaign to weaken adversaries while rebuilding what Kiev officials expect. Expect a new Russian ground attack next year.

Air force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said Russia had fired more than 60 missiles from both bombers and warships in the Black Sea. More than 50 aircraft were shot down by Ukrainian air defense systems, according to the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim.
