Russian Drone Strikes Leave Most of Ukraine’s Odessa Region Without Power

KHERSON, Ukraine—Much of Ukraine’s southern Odessa region was left without power after the latest in a series of Russian drone strikes on the country’s power grid.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that 1.5 million people in the area do not have electricity. Only critical infrastructure will be connected to the grid, he said, adding that restoring service could take longer after previous attacks.
