However, in need of money, he soon turned to adult fictional image sharing platform O-Vidz and started uploading topless snaps of himself.

In an upcoming Corrie episode, Carla reminds a hesitant Ryan that he will be starting his first shift at Underworld.

Ryan starts packing, but things escalate further when a male O-Vidz subscriber asks for a live video of him naked for £500.

Later, a nervous Ryan agrees to a call where he talks dirty to the guy who messaged him.

When Peter overhears it, he tells Carla that it’s no wonder Ryan spends so much time in his room when he heard him having phone sex.

Daisy listens in exasperation before confronting Ryan and asking what’s going on.

But will he come clean about what he did?

Of Ryan’s recent struggles, Prescott said, “To be honest, he’s heartbroken.”

“He doesn’t have Daisy anymore, Peter and Carla don’t want him to live with them after his recent behavior, his mother isn’t there.”

He added: “He spends a lot of time alone, a lot of time on the phone and computer, and a lot of time avoiding social situations.”

“I think the more he gets into his denial phase of delusion. The more he feels this loneliness, the more he still tries to achieve and hold on to the relationships he has.”

Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
