Ryanair passenger resorts to very drastic method to avoid paying for hand luggage

TWO Ryanair passengers have recently made extreme efforts to avoid the surcharge for their carry-on baggage.
The low-cost airline Ryanair has the strictest hand luggage regulations: holders of tickets at the basic fare are only allowed to take a small backpack or handbag on board.
In order to circumvent the strict hand luggage regulations and avoid paying additional fees, vacationers go to extreme lengths to stealthily carry their luggage onto flights.
TikTok user @watchyouup recently posted a video of him stuffing clothes into the lining of his coats.
A caption above the video read: “Best Ryanair travel trick: tuck your clothes into your jacket by slitting the pocket.”
The footage showed two traveler Roll their clothes into balls before stuffing them in the linings of your coat pockets.
As they made their way through the security and boarding gates, they tried not to look “suspicious” and “hoped” their travel trick would work.
Luckily, the two weren’t caught and their ruse worked.
At the end of the video, they even revealed that they managed to smuggle in an extra bag of clothes for free.
However, this is not the only drastic measure that passengers have taken to increase their carry-on space on a Ryanair flight.
Earlier this year, a woman hid a compression packing cube under her sweater.
She attached the packing cube to her stomach before pulling her hoodie over the “pelvis” to look pregnant.
Incredible as it may sound, the vacationer successfully got through the gate without being stopped by anyone.
Tricks and tips for avoiding carry-on fees are popular with travelers on TikTok.
These tricks include taking the filling out of a neck pillow and replacing it with clothing, or wearing multiple layers of clothing during the flight.
While these tricks may seem like a bit of fun, vacationers who are caught stealthily taking extra luggage can be charged a fee by the airline.
