RYLAN Clark has shared a dramatic health update on his mother Linda’s health after she was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery.
Presenter Rylan, 34, revealed the 71-year-old suffered a horrific fall while the couple were in Marbella earlier this week.
Rylan had to cancel his BBC Radio 2 show because the trip with Linda was extended.
He then told fans that she needed surgery following the mishap and has now given a positive update on the progress.
In his latest Instagram post, Rylan delivered some good news as he shared some photos of his mother being wheeled onto a private jet on a stretcher.
The former X Factor finalist wrote in his caption: “She might have broken an arm and a leg but she cost me an arm and a leg!”
“LINDAS IS COMING HOME!! Many thanks to the great team and surgeons at @helicopterossanitarios. Thank you for taking care of my mother.”
He added in a comment: “And yes she still gets her driveway x.”
Earlier this week he described Celebrity Gogglebox star Linda as “not in the best of health” and said her other medical conditions had complicated matters.
He shared a picture of his mother’s hand on Instagram and wrote: “Mom is out of surgery.
Breaking the news of the painful incident to fans, he wrote: “Unfortunately I took my mother on holiday for the first time in a few years and unfortunately she had a pretty bad fall which resulted in her being here had to undergo surgery outside.”
“She is not doing well due to her other medical conditions and that has made things even more complicated.”
“My priority at the moment is my mother.
“Cheers to Scott for covering me on Radio 2 and thanks to the people out here who sent me their well wishes.
“I pray for a successful operation and a speedy recovery. I will keep you updated about mom. Linda, as soon as I can x.”
Linda suffers from Crohn’s disease and previously had to take a break from Gogglebox due to a relapse of the incurable disease.
The pair first joined the show in 2019 and took part in two series before taking a break in 2021.
