Samsung calls for iPhone owners to SWITCH after revealing two new Galaxy phones with perk missing on every Apple handset

SAMSUNG has revealed two powerful brand new folding smartphones in a fresh attempt to get iPhone users to “join the flip side”.

The company unveiled its fifth version of the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Z Fold.

The Flip is designed to fit nicely into pockets, while the Fold gives you more of a mini tablet experience when opened out, along with a stylus.

Fans will notice that the Galaxy Z Flip 5 now features a bigger screen on the front – known as the Flex Window – when it’s closed shut.

The move gives users even better use of the handset for things like selfies using the FlexCam without having to hold the phone awkwardly.

Meanwhile, on the massive Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung has managed to slim things down so it’s thinner and feels less heavy – 10g less than the previous version.

The hinges have also been improved.

However, prices have crept up slightly compared to past models.

“Our latest foldable range offers a next generation smartphone for every taste and lifestyle,” said James Kitto, VP Head of MX Division, Samsung UK and Ireland.

“From the Galaxy Z Flip 5 – one of the world’s most pocketable smartphones; to the multi-tasking powerhouse that is the Galaxy Z Fold 5, we can’t wait for our loyal customers, and new recruits to Samsung, to experience them and join the flip side.”

The Galaxy Watch 6 series puts a big focus on sleep with easy-to-understand sleep score factors and more personalised sleep messages for detailed feedback on your night’s kip.

And the Galaxy Tab S9 series comprises of three tablet models, the Galaxy Tab S9, the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 starts at £1049 in mint, graphite, cream, and
lavender colours.
