Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams wedding: What the bride wore

‘Modern Family’ actress Sarah Hyland finally married ‘Bachelorette’ grad Wells Adams over the weekend after the couple postponed their wedding by two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The TV stars wed Saturday at Sunstone Winery in Santa Ynez, California near Santa Barbara, the Los Angeles Times confirmed. Hyland, 31, and Adams, 38, got engaged in July 2019 after dating for almost two years.

On her wedding day, Hyland wore two haute couture dresses designed by Vera Wang. According to the fashion house’s Instagram page, the Love Island host’s first look was a “light ivory faille silk sweetheart ball gown with a hand-pleated French tulle bodice and sleeves accented by a high slit and a delicate ruffle Cathedral length Italian tulle veil Macrame lace border with hand appliqué.”

For the after party, Hyland changed into a “soft white Italian crepe gown with a draped neckline, hand-placed macrame lace, and draped Italian tulle sleeves.”

” CHARM PERSONALIZED,” Wang said in a message to the beaming bride. “So happy to share in your happiness!”

Hyland and Adams originally planned to tie the knot in the summer of 2020, before the COVID-19 crisis derailed their plans. In August of that year, Hyland captioned a series of Instagram photos: “We were supposed to be getting married today. Instead… we took pictures and drank wine.”

Guests at the couple’s Saturday wedding included Hyland’s former Modern Family cast members Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, Nolan Gould and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who, according to Page Six, officiated the ceremony for his TV niece.

Bridesmaids included actress Vanessa Hudgens, musician GG Magree and influencer Ciara Robinson, who served as Hyland’s maid of honor. Some of Adams’ Bachelor Nation pals were also in attendance.
