Sasha Banks and Naomi replace Roman Reigns on advert for upcoming episode of SmackDown 

Sasha Banks and Naomi replaced Roman Reigns in commercials for the June 24 episode of SmackDown Live from Texas. This came over a month after the two women left WWE.

Banks and Naomi were suspended from the company last week after busting out before RAW and trailing the Women’s Tag Team Championships. It has since been confirmed that the two women are no longer with WWE and have not appeared on television since.

WWE is still promoting the upcoming episode of SmackDown Live from Moody Center in Texas, but has updated the listings to reflect Roman Reigns will not be in attendance.

Although the advertisement was changed, Naomi and Sasha Banks were added to the roster for the show.

Although these ads have been updated to reflect Reigns’ new schedule, there’s a chance they were released before Banks and Naomi left the company. There’s also the possibility that WWE has decided against changing the listings and images for now, just in case they can patch things up with Banks and Naomi and the two women return next month.

Roman Reigns will be taking a break from WWE this summer

Roman Reigns currently holds the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but the Tribal Chief will be taking an extended hiatus from the company this summer.

After initially promoting the show in Texas, the company has since dropped Reigns from the roster as the star is expected to be furloughed this summer and will only be promoted as part of Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.

Reigns will also not compete in the upcoming Hell in a Cell event and recently announced that he will no longer wrestle in WWE Live events.
