Savannah Chrisley describes visiting dad Todd Chrisley in prison

Savannah Chrisley revealed in the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast that she recently visited her father Todd Chrisley in prison with her grandmother Nanny Faye.

“I have never felt the presence of Jesus more than in this visiting room,” she said of her visit.

Savannah says the visit helped boost her morale.

“Even when I visit my dad, I know I have so much hope and so much renewed strength that I’m like, ‘This isn’t the end. And I know they’re going through what they’re going through so we can make a difference, so we can make a change. Because whether that call works or not, they still come out with a story.”

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 16 months probation, while Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years and 16 months probation for her involvement in the crimes.

“My mom is in an airless facility, but there are service dogs for the prison that are housed in a heated and cooled building because it’s inhumane for them to be airless,” Savannah added. “I read that in an executive order [President Joe] Biden signed off on requiring all federal inmates to be housed in environmentally friendly facilities,” she continued. “And I’m like, ‘OK, well, that’s the complete opposite of that.’
