You Season 3 was another hit for Netflix. Fans around the world are now asking the same thing: do I have to wait almost two years to watch? You Season 4?

We hope not! Netflix renewed You for season 4 before the release of season 3. Announcing it before the season premiered was a surprising move, but we knew that You Season 4 would happen. Netflix wouldn’t cancel this show so soon!

Star Penn Badgley appeared at streamer TUDUM’s annual event on September 24, 2022 to share some news about the upcoming fourth season. We are so excited to discuss everything You Season 4!

Is You finished season 4 filming?

Now that we’re about to enter the first half of the new season, that’s no surprise You Season 4 filming is 100% complete!

The start of filming was officially confirmed in March You Netflix twitter account. The fourth season had a projected completion date of August 2022, meaning the show should now be in post-production.

As luck would have it, this became known on August 27th Filming officially completed At You Season 4. The completion of production was celebrated with a group photo of Penn Badgley with other cast and crew members. We’re one step closer to the new season on Netflix!

Your season 4 release date

A lot of people were hoping that the new season would come out in 2022, but that’s not the case. Luckily, we just got the release date for You Season 4 at TUDUM 2022. Even if we won’t get the new season this year, we will get it soon enough!

You Season 4 will be divided into two parts, with Part 1 will debut on February 9, 2023 and Part 2 will release on March 9, 2023. The fourth season consists of 10 episodes in total. Part 1 consists of the first five episodes and Part 2 consists of the remaining five episodes.

Your teaser for Season 4

At TUDUM 2022 we got the first look teaser You Season 4 and confirms who the new cast members will play. We also learned that Joe Goldberg from “Jonathan Moore” is leaving.

Check out the teaser below, but note that the release dates for both parts have changed since this teaser. Part 1 will be released on February 9th and Part 2 on March 9th.

You cast Season 4

Apparently, Penn Badgley was the first confirmed cast member for You Season 4. After You Season 3 do we know Joe Goldberg — or should we call him Nick? – is back for Season 4. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Love actress Victoria Pedretti or most of the other Season 3 cast members.

It will be really interesting to see where the story goes You Season 4 because many of the characters from Season 3 could return if Joe somehow returns to Madre Linda. At least the ones that survived. I’m also not sure if we last saw Dottie Quinn, played by Saffron Burrows.

I’m also hoping that we get to see Victoria Pedretti in flashbacks in season 4 or if she somehow survived the fire and poisoning. I know it’s unlikely, but I’m hoping that Season 4 will see Love track down Joe and make him pay for it.

According to a new report from Deadline, euphoria And The White Lotus Star Lukas Gage has been cast You Season 4 as a character named Adam! The publication describes the role as:

He is famous for spectacularly failing to live up to the standards of his successful, honorable family. An entrepreneur and gambler, Adam is a warm and fun party host and quick friend. But underneath, Adam hides a wealth of secrets and papers over problems with heavy self-medication.

Sounds like a potential problem for Joe!

We will also see Tati Gabrielle You Season 4, but I think the ship (Joe and Marienne) may have sailed. Gabrielle Will Return With Season 4, New Set Photos Reveal!

We also learned that Charlotte Ritchie has joined the cast of You Season 4 and will play the new female lead alongside Badgley. The British ghosts The actress will play a character named Kate.

According to Deadline, Kate is “smart, independent, suspicious, doesn’t miss anything. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, a wall to everyone else. As the daughter of a chaotic, unconventional single mother, Kate has worked hard to create the life she now leads.”

We also know that she’s an art gallery director and very protective of her best friend, Lady Phoebe, “a sweet and trusting person whose extreme wealth and fame attracts opportunists.”

Rather than love, Kate prefers loose “arrangements” and has started dating a party-goer named Malcolm, who invites Joe into her world. Kate immediately dislikes Joe.

In addition to the Kate casting announcement, information about her character reveals a lot about Season 4. We addressed it above by mentioning Kate and her boyfriend Malcolm, but here’s the full extent of Deadline’s new details:

When Malcolm invites Joe (Badgley), an American misfit with no apparent means, into her world of privilege, Kate not only takes an instant liking to him, she has a strong suspicion that something about the man is not what he seems.

It sounds like Kate poses a threat to Joe. Will he be able to charm her?

Your Synopsis for Season 4

After the events of You Season 3 Finale, there are many directions the show could go. We know Joe is free and presumed dead, but we don’t know the motivations of the other characters. We suspect that one or two people from Joe’s past won’t believe he’s really dead.

According to the teaser, the fourth season will mainly take place in London. Joe is now called Jonathan Moore and works as a professor at a university in Great Britain. He seems ready to put his dark past behind him and start anew, but we all know that’s not going to happen.

I’m curious if Joe returns to Madre Linda to find Henry You Season 4. We know that Joe doesn’t think he could be a good father, so that’s something to watch for in the new season as well. I’m also curious if You Season 4 will follow Caroline Kepnes’ new book You Book series ever, titled You love me. It follows Joe to a small town after getting tired of big city life. It seems the show has gotten out of the book, but it doesn’t look like the show will go that route with him in London.

Regardless, we know that in season 4 Joe will find a new persona to obsess over. This is a matter of course!

Will his past finally catch up with Joe? We’ll find out in the new season.

She season 4 filming locations

It looks like the production for season 4 took place mainly in the UK. On April 1 the official Netflix UK & Ireland Twitter account tweeted a photo of Badgley on the Season 4 set. The caption of the post reads, “Take care…Joe is in the UK! The fourth season of YOU is now being shot in London.” According to the LAD Bible, the filming was apparently also carried out at the University of London. Badgley was spotted filming scenes for Season 4 on the University of London campus.

Finding out that Joe will be in the UK for Season 4 was a shock to us. We thought season four would take place in Paris since season three ended with Joe in Paris. Maybe Joe spends some time in Paris at the beginning of season 4 and then makes his way to London.
