Season 5 of New Amsterdam is not coming to Netflix in February 2023

You may not have seen it coming, but NBC’s #1 favorite medical drama did New Amsterdam has become one of the most popular series on Netflix. The show’s first two seasons, starring Ryan Eggold, were canceled before the end in January 2023 New Amsterdam season 5
Building on the success of the first two seasons of the year, Netflix added New Amsterdam Seasons 3 and 4 in February 2023, leaving the series primed as the best binge show on the platform. It even peaked in the top 10 shows ranking!
New fans can’t get enough of the series as they discover every twist and turn of the plot, and surely old fans will have a blast reliving all the moments they loved in the series from the start. In that sense, it’s probably bittersweet since the series ended and there won’t be a season 6.
But when can new and old fans tune in? New Amsterdam Season 5 on Netflix? Unfortunately it won’t be February 2023 as the streamer announced the full list of newly released movies and shows for that month and the final season wasn’t among the titles.
New Amsterdam season 5 coming to Netflix in February 2023?
On January 17th New Amsterdam Season 5 ended the show’s run with a controversial two-part series finale that polarized some fans hoping to see something other than the endgame. (No spoilers here!) However, Netflix fans will have to wait a little longer to see the final season.
While the first two seasons arrived on Netflix on January 1st and the third and fourth seasons were dropped on February 1st, it hasn’t been confirmed if we can expect the same monthly release pattern. By that standard, Season 5 would be coming to our watchlists on March 1st. That would be ideal!
As previously mentioned, the new Amsterdam Season 5’s Netflix release date has not been confirmed by the streaming service. If you want to watch the final season now without waiting for Netflix, you can stream the full series on Peacock.
