The 37-year-old defender has signed a one-year deal with the La Liga club after leaving Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

He got emotional as he was introduced to fans at Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium on Wednesday night.

Ramos won a World Cup and two European Championships with Spain, while he also won the Champions League four times with Real Madrid at club level.

Growing up on the outskirts of Seville, he joined the club’s academy at the age of seven before joining Real.
