Michael Beale is aiming for a strong away performance at Servette tonight from a Rangers side he feels has attacking power.
Sitting at the base of midfield, Ryan Jack is hoping for plenty of attacking power from the likes of Nico Raskin, Jose Cifuentes, Todd Cantwell and Abdallah Sima to support Danilo.
Cantwell and Sima will be closest to the former Feyenoord striker, with the likes of Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers on a strong bench if necessary.
Beale told Rangers TV: “I’m really looking forward to it. It’s a really warm evening, a bit difficult but we’ve picked a strong team that we believe will get a positive result for us tonight.”
“I think it’s important that Connor comes in. Ryan’s return will allow Nico and Jose to move forward. Todd goes up a line and plays pretty close to Danilo with Abdullah.”
“Playing a line up gives Todd a bit of freedom, we have a very strong bench when needed.
“I’m sure they will come and try the team. I’m aware we have plenty of supplies with Nico, Jose and Todd supporting the first two.”
“The mentality has to be right – I expect a strong away performance from my team to make sure we play well and score goals.”
