Kim returned for a cameo in the second season finale of the Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That.
She hadn’t played sex siren Samantha Jones since 2010 due to a feud with Carrie actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
In 2018, Sarah told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen that she was “heartbroken” after Kim said she was never friends with her co-stars.
Then, in 2019, Kim ruled out any possibility of ever playing the role of Samantha again.
During an interview with The Observer in 2019, she said: “I crossed the finish line as Samantha Jones because I loved Sex And The City.
“It was a blessing in many ways, but after the second film I had had enough.
“I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t just replace me with another actress instead of wasting time bullying me. No means no.”
