An SFRS spokesman said: “At 3.25pm ​​we received a call about a motorbike on fire on the Esplanade at Aberdeen Beach.

“A device was mobilized to the scene of the accident and the fire was safely extinguished.

“At 3:41 p.m. we received the stop message.”

Scottish Police confirmed they were on site to help with traffic management.
