Shoppers are racing to snap up homeware in Asda and it’s scanning for as little as 90p

KNOWLEDGE SHOPPERS are racing to quickly scan household items for coins at Asda superstores.
From plush sheets to cotton towels, cute vases and even lamps, Asda has slashed prices in their homewares section, with some items scanned for as little as 90 cents.
An eagle-eyed shopper named Lewis Eldridge spotted this at his local Asda and shared the news on Facebook Group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
“There were some bargains in local Asda today,” he revealed, along with four photos to showcase what’s on sale.
The first image shows a tall table lamp with a wooden base and a mustard shade.
It’s in line with the season’s trends and better yet, it’s less than a pound.
The label on the shelf reads only 90p, next to the words ‘special price’.
The same lamp in white, listed on the website as George Home’s White Wooden Cylindrical Lamp, costs £9.50.
This shows that the mustard version has been reduced by more than £8 – what a bargain.
But that’s not the only deal on the shelf.
Lewis also shares a trendy yellow vase in the shape of a honeycomb, priced at just £2.50 – perfect for your summer blooms.
There’s a pile of green soft towels, £1 each and a reversible green bedding set for just £4.75 – what a bargain.
A lot of team members have started tagging each other in posts to mark deals, but it wasn’t the only purchase that caught their attention.
In another recent post, an eager shopper spotted a bargain summer barbecue for just £8 instead of £69.
Delighted with the deal, one follower said: “Great find, bargain!”
Meanwhile, another person tagged their friend and wrote: “We can replace our BBQ”.
If you’re quick, you can still buy a Hexagonal Charcoal Barrel Oven and burn it up before summer ends.
There’s still time to invest in garden furniture, with Asda selling luxury black garden recliners for £6.30 – down from £12.60.
As the cost of living goes up, we’ll do anything to get a bargain – but there’s still room for a small gift or two.
A coffee-loving shopper went wild after spotting a latte that tastes like Kinder Bueno chocolate, and it’s tons cheaper than Starbucks orders.

White chocolate and hazelnut instant coffee costs £2.75 a box, while a cup of Starbucks coffee costs around £3.
