Shoppers are racing to snap up homeware in Asda and it’s scanning for as little as 90p

SAVVY SHOPPERS compete to snag homeware scanning for pennies at Asda supermarkets.
From luxurious bed linen to fluffy towels, cute vases and even lights, Asda has slashed prices in the housewares department, with some items available from as little as 90p.
An alert shopper named Lewis Eldridge made the discovery at his local Asda and shared the news Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.
“There are some bargains to be had at the local Asda today,” he revealed, adding four images to illustrate the offer.
The first picture shows a tall table lamp with a wooden base and a mustard shade.
It’s right on trend for the season and better yet, it weighs less than a pound.
The label on the shelf says only 90p, next to it it says ‘special price’.
The same lamp is available in white and is listed on the website as the George Home White Wood cylinder lamp priced at £9.50.
This suggests the mustard version has been reduced by over £8 – what a steal.
But that’s not the only offering hitting the shelves.
Lewis also shared a trendy yellow vase in the shape of a beehive, priced at just £2.50 – perfect for your summer blooms.
There’s a stack of soft green towels priced at £1 each and a set of reversible green bed linen at just £4.75 – what a bargain.
Countless group members have started tagging each other in the post to draw attention to the deals, but that’s not the only sale catching their attention.
In another recent post, a keen shopper spotted a bargain summer grill priced at just £8 instead of a whopping £69.
A follower was thrilled with the deal, saying, “Great find, bargain!”
Meanwhile, another tagged his friend and wrote: “We can replace our grill.”
If you’re quick, you can still grab a hexagonal charcoal barrel grill and fire it up before summer is over.
There’s still time to invest in garden furniture too: Asda is offering chic black garden loungers for £6.30 – reduced from £12.60.
When the cost of living increases, we’ll do whatever it takes to snag a bargain — but there’s still room for a little treat or two.
A coffee-loving shopper caused a stir when he discovered a latte that tastes just like Kinder Bueno chocolate and is a lot cheaper than a Starbucks order.

The white chocolate and hazelnut flavored instant coffee costs £2.75 a can, while a single cup of Starbucks coffee starts at around £3.
