Shoppers are racing to Wilko to clear the shelves in the store’s mega sale – and there’s up to 50% off

With Wilko on the brink of impeachment, bargain hunters are scrambling to clear the shelves while the supermarket slashes prices by up to 50%.
From suitcases to home accessories to garden bargains, there’s a whole range of items in the Wilko’s Mega Sale – and people have been eager to flaunt their bargains online.
Among them is an avid shopper named Abbey Woods, who joined the Facebook group to save money Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK and shared a snap of the heavily discounted pillow she snagged for just £3.20.
Alongside the picture, she wrote: “Before Wilkos had to close I strolled into the Wigan store today and managed to get my hands on these pillows.”
“They’re 55cm x 55cm and only £3.20 on sale.”
Another delighted shopper named Alice Thomas posted a picture of a charcoal grill and kettle that features an enameled steel grate, bakelite handle, warming rack and storage rack on the bottom.
And what’s more, it also features base wheels for easy movement.
She wrote: “Wilko had this for £24 – it’s very big too.”

Elsewhere, Stephanie Steele got lucky when she got her hands on a suitcase that had been drastically reduced in price.
“My bargain on Wilkinsons Administration special offer – cabin friendly suitcase – suitable for easyJet/Ryanair/Jet2 – £28 reduced to £19.60,” she wrote.
And the mega sale isn’t the only Wilko-related news that Fabulous has covered over the last month.
Despite thousands of employees in the 400 Wilko stores being in the line of fire, we previously shared how one worker is upset about something else.
On the way to TikTok, Wilko sales assistant Georgia breed complained that it was the annoying customers who were the biggest point of criticism.
While filming herself dancing in her Wilko uniform, Georgia wrote, “I’m overdoing myself being asked for six hours if Wilkos is closing and if I’m going to lose my job.”
She added, “Don’t ask.”
