WHILE most of us had our eyes on the King and Queen this morning, others were looking for the best-dressed – and it looks like Pippa Middleton might just win that tiara.
The Princess of Wales’ sister has received rave reviews after being spotted outside Westminster Abbey in a lime-yellow gown by British luxury designer Clare Mischevani.
She completed the look with a big hat, classic bun, and nude pointy shoes.
Although Pippa’s custom dress is not available for purchase, similar styles will cost shoppers a whopping £995.
However, some savvy shoppers have spotted an affordable ‘dupe’ – and now it’s only £55.
Warehouse’s custom-made belted Blazer dress is available online in sizes 10 to 16 and is now down to £55.30, down from £79.
For those wanting Pippa style, opt for something below the knee, Ghost’s Satin Meryl Butter Midi Dress in the same on-trend color for £129.
On Twitter, Coronation viewers shared their reactions to her pastel ensemble, with one post: “Shortly spotted her at Westminster Abbey. Great!!”
“Pippa Middleton did a great job. It looks elegant,” commented another.
Another suggested: “Pippa’s outfit, reminds me so much of Kate’s Platinum Celebration outfit!”
During last year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Kate was spotted wearing a similar lime green shirt at Thanksgiving, held at St Paul’s Cathedral on June 3, 2022.
The Princess of Wales teamed a pale yellow Emilia Wickstead Elta gown for £1,495 with a pair of Gianvito Rossi suede heels for £600.
She completed the look with a co-ordinated glamorous outfit, adorned with yellow faux roses and pearl drop earrings.
Kate was also spotted wearing the same color at Trooping the Color to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth’s birthday in 2019.
During her ninth Royal attendance, she was seen wearing a structured yellow off-the-shoulder dress with 3/4-length sleeves, as reported by Alexander McQueen.
She completed the elegant look with a matching gold hat by Philip Treacy.
