Simple WoW Dragonflight trick adds skull to Tauren’s tail

. Last updated: July 25, 2022

Impressive Dragonflight’s attention to detail on the cosmetic front is being lauded by players after new discoveries made by Tauren players in the Alpha.

How your character looks in World of Warcraft is half the fun of playing the game. Having a good looking toon with some sick transmogs is easily worth the hours of work it takes.

That being said, Dragonflight seems to be taking things to a whole different level, with items adding additional details that players already love.

In a post on the official WoW subreddit, user Shaater pointed out the unique cosmetic effect the Blightguard belt had on tauren – by attaching a small skull to the end of their tail.

As expected, most players love the extra cosmetic flair and want Blizzard to add more of that with Dragonflight.

“There are about 3-4 boots I will be wearing on my troll that will cover the feet,” replied one user. “We need more.”

Cosmetic options for specific races – or lack thereof – have been a topic of discussion in the WoW community for a while. So could Dragonflight be the start of Blizzard paying attention to detail like fans want?

Dragonflight gives some players hope that Blizzard actually took fan and player feedback into account this time.

Even with the alpha out, it might be too early to tell if that will be the case or not. While we already know much of the base game content coming with Dragonflight, what will arrive with the end game is still a bit of a mystery.

But based on the promising cosmetic upgrades offered in the alpha, the latest WoW expansion could be just what players have been waiting for.
