Whether you’re part of Burger King or KFC, check out these tips. . .

DOWNLOAD APPY: Download the app. They often offer deals that you can’t get elsewhere.

For example, Burger King app users can get half price Whopper, Chicken Royale or Bacon Double Cheeseburger every weekday afternoon.

McDonald’s fans get Monday deals on mobile orders.

COMPARE PRICES: Menu prices may vary from branch to branch.

If you have two or three similar chains nearby, you should check which is the cheapest.

You can ask for prices at the store or by phone.

FOOD TO THINK: Keep your receipt from McDonald’s as you may be invited to fill out an online survey to unlock special offers.

Completing the survey currently offers one Big Mac voucher, six chicken nuggets, shredded chicken or chips for £1.99.

But you will need to enter the code from your receipt.

REFUNDS: If you ordered your meal through Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats, you can click through Topcashback to get your money back on your order.

MEMBER TRANSACTIONS: Sign up for any rewards program to receive offers that normal punters won’t have.

For example, at KFC, you have a chance to win food prizes with every purchase.

When you sign up for the Burger King program, you’ll get 100 points instantly, enough to claim a free portion of fries.

BIRTHDAY SWAG: You can get tons of free food when it’s your birthday.

Burger King offers free Whopper and McDonald’s gifts, which vary by day.

So don’t forget to provide your special date when signing up for the programs.
