Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are getting divorced after seven years of marriage
The news comes after Sofia turned up to celebrate her swimsuit-filled 51st birthday alone.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the couple said in a joint statement page six. “As two people who love and care for each other deeply, we politely ask for respect for our privacy at this new stage in our lives.”
The two, who met at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in May 2014 and began dating shortly thereafter, have no children together. They got engaged in December of the same year and married in November 2015.

Rumors of a split began earlier this month when Vergara celebrated her 51st birthday with a trip to Italy with friends … and there was no Joe in sight.
As the posts continued to pour in over the past two weeks, fans noticed he didn’t comment on any of them – while his own birthday tribute to Vergara was criticized as ‘cold’ and ‘weird’ after he shared an old, blurry post photo of the couple.
He simply captioned the post, “¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!”

“Something is not correct. Cold news for her and two stories about his dog’s birthday. And Sofia didn’t even say thank you,” commented Fan.

The pair also didn’t appear to be celebrating the Fourth of July together, although they both shared photos together during a recent trip to NYC in June.
