To access the cheat codes for Sonic The Hedgehog you have to enter the following code in these different steps:

  1. Go to the game’s title screen.

  4. The game creates a ring sound effect.

  1. In Sonic 2, either use Level Select or progress through the game naturally to achieve it ‘Mystical Cave Zone Act 2’.
  2. From the beginning of the level, go right.
  3. Fall off the bridge and keep going right until the level stops you.
  4. Drop down and go past the rotating crates.
  5. Lower the next wooden bridge and after that jump from the yellow spring.
  6. You should come across a pit with a vine above it.
  7. Don’t pull the vineInstead, just hop down the pit and hey presto, you’re in the Hidden Palace Zone!
