Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend shows jury photos of injuries from alleged assault

Soulja Boy’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Meyers, testified in court this week about an alleged assault that took place at a house party in 2019.

Kayla claims she’s been with the rapper for years. But at the house party, she says, she tried to leave but fought with Soulja’s friend and was thrown to the ground. She then claims the rapper shockingly hit her with a large gun and punched her in the face. She later claims the rapper tied her to a chair with an extension cord and she was only released 6 hours later after being forced into her freedom to perform a sex act with him.

She immediately fled the house. She showed the jury pictures of her injuries and text messages as evidence.

After she reported the incident to police, officers searched the home and found Soulja had the gun. He was never charged with assaulting her, although she says she suffered three broken ribs and a bruised face as a result of the alleged assault. Her lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.

Soulja Boy claims he is innocent.
