When it comes to animation, there’s one movie that has been a leader over the past decade: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The project is constantly touted as more fan-favorite movies centered around the iconic site’s front page. So it’s only fair that a project incorporates animation like Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers Released, Miles Morales’ story received critical acclaim.
For those who don’t know, Disney+ just released a brand new story featuring classic characters. Both John Mulaney and Andy Samberg titled the series as mainstream Chip and Dale in a new combination of animation and live action in the streaming arena.
Famous actors Seth Rogen, JK Simmons, Will Arnett and many more can also join the fun. Along with these big-name stars have given a nod to many other franchises, even giving Paul Rudd a nod with Ant Man movie.
During the runtime of the project, not only Into the Spider-Verse received a subtle word of encouragement, but now the producer of the original film has confirmed its presence, hidden across the street.
Spider-Verse Easter Egg Confirmed
With the release Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers movies, the internet has exploded with all the different cameos appearing in movies. Now, it looks like there’s another one to add to the collection.
At the 0:26:40 mark, the main characters can be seen walking down the street. However, it is what is behind them that attracts the eye.
The graffiti on the wall looks terrible like what Miles Morales drew Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The Easter egg was originally pointed out by the film’s editor, who exclaimed: “Wait, is that what I thought it was???”
In response, the film’s producer, Phil Lord, acknowledged the nod and joked that, “Chip and Dale are canons.”

With how wonderful Spider-Verse the movie is, it’s really surprising that the movie only has one scream crammed into the background of the shot. However, that is most likely related to IP rights that are under Sony’s control. Maybe it’s a miracle Chip was even able to achieve that.
