A listing on the PlayStation Network database has reportedly leaked that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released in March 2023.
After months of rumor and speculation, EA and Lucasfilm revealed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor during Star Wars Celebration 2022.
A short teaser trailer accompanied the announcement, teasing that Cal Kestis’ next journey will pave the way for a whole host of new mysteries.
However, the reveal offered few details about the sequel’s release. At the time of writing, all the public knows is that Cal Kestis and his droid companion, BD-1, will return on an unspecified date in 2023.
The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor release window may have expired
Much about the next Star Wars Jedi title remains under wraps.
A PSN database entry may have inadvertently narrowed the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launch window.
PlayStation game sizeknown for reliably scrapping PSN’s backend, claims that the PSN database had previously listed Survivor as a title from late February or early March 2023.
Although PlayStation users can wishlist the Star Wars sequel via the official PS Store page, the link currently indicates that a due date is “yet to be set”.
If Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to release early next year, EA and co. are likely to release new details sooner rather than later.
The original game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, hit store shelves in late 2019 and came as quite a surprise to players and publisher Electronic Arts.
Most notably, his critical acclaim and incredible commercial success have more or less reignited EA’s interest in single-player experiences.
The 2019 title follows Cal Kestis as he teams up with a secret team to secretly rebuild the Jedi Order.
While Fallen Order ends on an interesting note in regards to that effort, the Survivor trailer suggests Cal’s next adventure could prove even more intriguing.
