‘Stars Wars’ in a summer beach show: Yvette Nicole Brown thrilled to have the ‘force’ with her on LEGO summer vacation

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown loves “Star Wars”. She really loves being a part of this world. Brown is back as Lieutenant Valeria in the Disney+ animated special LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation.

“It’s really the whole ‘Star Wars’ world in one summertime beach show. when do you get this And LEGO? Come on!” Brown said. “Listen, you never know what you’re going to see in a ‘Star Wars’ special. Well, the ‘Star Wars’ movies and the TV shows are very serious and it’s all about guns and all that. But the specials are when they get really crazy. And so you can come and just fly your freak flag!

Brown says she grew up believing in kindness, and she believes it has helped her in her career. If she wasn’t an actress, Yvette would have become a kindergarten teacher. She thinks children are magical. Brown says she thinks I might even know what she was like as a kid.

“I guess so! I think you met her. I was really geeky. I was really an introvert. I loved all things creative, all things sci-fi. loved barbie. That’s no surprise,” Brown said. “Who I am as an adult is just a bigger version of me at 7.”

Where she is now in her career: Brown is happy and content.

“I think I’ve done myself a favor and if something ever comes along and I’m like, ‘Oh, I gotta play her,’ and there’s this, you know, heartbreaking drama, I’d totally throw myself into that, too.” said Brown. “But I like my lane. It’s a good lane.”

LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation begins streaming on Disney+ on Friday, August 5th.
