Starter Pokémon takes over Community Day this week in Pokémon Go

POKÉMON Go is gearing up for this month’s Community Day alongside the Valorous Hero event.
There will be a starter Pokémon at this month’s Community Day, so it’s sure to be a hit.
A Little Cup also joins the Battle League with a fun tip twist.
Here’s everything that’s happening in Pokémon Go from May 15th to May 21st.
Bellsprout is in the spotlight
This week’s Spotlight Hour takes place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023out of 6 p.m local time.
Since it’s a two-stage advancement, players will need a lot of candy to catch a Victreebel, making this a great opportunity.
As usual, this hour has more spawns and a chance to spot a Shiny.
Each Pokémon transferred during this hour will also give you double Candy, making it even easier to get Victreebel.
The Element Cup competes against the Go Battle League
The Go Battle League will change Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 21 clock British time.
The Ultra League is replaced by the Master League with an unlimited CP limit.
To counteract this, there is the Element Cup: Little Edition with a CP limit of only 500.
Only Fire, Water, and Grass-type Pokémon can enter, and they must never have evolved despite being able to.
Tapu Fini storms raids again
Raid Hour takes place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 out of 6 p.m local time.
Tapu Fini gets double billing on raids and will be available again this week.
As part of the Raid Hour, it will be available in every single gym as a five-star raid.
Mega Pinsir joins Tapu Fini and is available in Mega Raids for another week.
A Valorous Hero event ends
A brave hero began on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 10 am and ends on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 8 p.m local time.
This is your last chance to see the event-exclusive costumed Ponyta.
A number of research tasks will reward you with Ponyta, but if you complete them all there is a special Ponyta with a Candace accessory.
Fennekin is coming to Community Day
Community Day takes place on Sunday May 21, 2023out of 14 o’clock until 17 o’clock local time.
This month’s Community Day will feature Fennekin, the Fire-type starter from Pokémon X and Y.
Besides the increased spawn and shiny chance, it can learn special moves if you manage to evolve one of them into Delphox.
Blast Burn is the charged move of choice when evolving during Community Day, or Mystical Fire when evolving after the event.
