‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 Review on Netflix

Over time Part 1 of Strange things‘Section 4 drops on Friday, May 27, 1,058 days will have passed. And that’s a long time between seasons of any show, however it can be. But I bring good news, even great news: Pandemic delays are damned, the seven super-sized episodes we get are 100% worth the wait.

The timing of the comeback triumph of the Netflix hit couldn’t have been better for streamers, which has been hard to come by with good news lately. In the first quarter of 2022, it lost its first subscribers in a decade, resulting in a plunging stock price, layoffs, and overall financial crunch.

Yes, not many bottles of lotta champagne have been opened yet. But it will be after the world has finished loading Season 4.

You may already know that in the show’s penultimate episode, six months have passed since the Battle of Starcourt, bullied the death of hero Billy, and Eleven lost her powers. (Read a recap of the end of Season 3 here.) You also know from the trailer (you can check it out here) and the epistoll shots (you can see it here) that there’s a new creature in general , a creature more akin to a human than the Demogorgon could be in its dreams.

What you do not know – but at least – is that Season 4 continues to find the Duffer Brothers at the top of their game. The creators of this series have done an effective job in letting their children grow up and go through all the pain that comes with growing up – and in some cases, growing up. apart. They’ve caught the couple to reveal what they’re really made of. And the supernatural mystery that the EPs have set in motion, blessed that it has a central character that we’re deeply interested in, capable of leaving you inside and out like, ahem, upside down.

Strangers season 4 part 1 reviewOn top of that, Season 1 of Season 4 reminds us again and again that few and far between are the better series (or even as good) in staging incredible couplers. It reinforces the fact that you can remove any type Strange things‘the characters form an arc and it feels like you’re witnessing the first time you’ve witnessed chocolate being dipped in peanut butter. And we can’t figure out how, but the show constantly introduces new people that are instantly iconic. (That’s right, we pretty much appreciate the scene-stealing Argyle!)

In short, unless for some reason you’re dying of a wheel reinvention, you’ll love this. Thrilling, exciting, funny and scary as hell.

LINE TV ANSWER: As Argyle would say, “Hold your butt, brochachos!” Strange thingsSeason 4, Season 1, was an amazingly wild ride.
