Stricly star Zara McDermott’s boyfriend Sam Thompson reveals baby plans ahead of first live show
STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Zara McDermott’s boyfriend Sam Thompson says he’s ready to start a family.
The former Made in Chelsea star says his sister Louise gave him pause after becoming a mother in 2021.

Sam, 31, says he would like to have at least three or four children with Zara – who is currently dancing at the seams on Strictly.
“When I’m 40, I definitely hope I have a family. I want to get married and have kids,” Sam said The mirror.
“I probably want three or four. But Zara is in charge, she’ll probably tell me!”
“I look at my little little nephew Leo, he’s not a baby anymore – he’s two and a half, but he’s the cutest thing in the world. If I could have a child like him, I would have ten!”
Sam recently spoke about what he thought of Zara dancing with Graziano Di Prima on Strictly.
Speaking on his Hits radio show, the reality star said: “What a beautiful man too… big muscles, about 6ft tall, jacked and also a year younger than me, which is terrifying.”
He also revealed that he had known about the partnership for some time and that he and Zara had begun welcoming Graziano into their own lives.
Sam added: “He came over for dinner with his lovely, beautiful wife not too long ago – we made him Spag Bol – and we found out a lot about him.”
“He grew up in Sicily, he was a wine masher – I think that’s what you call it!”
“He gave his parents a roof over his head when he started dancing. He has the most amazing story, he is the most lovely man.”
Zara is the first Love Island star to make it into the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom.
During the BBC competition’s launch show, she confessed to having watched the show since she was a child and revealed that her “dream” of now taking part as a contestant had come true.
